On April 11, 2023, in the format of a "round table", a Day of quality of fruit and vegetable products for school and preschool nutrition was held, organized by the Scientific and Practical Center of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus on Food. In his welcoming speech, Director General Alexey Meleshchenya noted that the purpose of the Quality Day is to familiarize consumers with the existing product range, discuss problematic issues and strengthen contacts between relevant organizations.

During the event, the participants engaged in an enthusiastic discussion on the proposed issues, including the taste qualities of products for school and preschool nutrition, its composition, packaging and distribution. Those present tasted more than 35 samples of canned fruits and vegetables of domestic production for school and preschool nutrition.

The event was attended by representatives of 7 manufacturers of children's fruit and vegetable nutrition, school catering organizations of the regions of the Republic of Belarus and the city of Minsk, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus, the concern Belgospischeprom, the Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade of the Republic of Belarus, the Belarusian State University of Food and Chemical Technologies.
